Life and Death in the Balance of the Covenant

A profound passage from the end of Leviticus. The Lord through His servant Moses tells his people of the abundant blessings that await them in the promised land. They are so great that words can hardly encompass them... a land flowing with milk and honey, a land where God dwells with His people and provides all they need... almost heaven on earth.

However, such promises are countered by warnings of judgments and trials if they forget and turn from the Lord. Interestingly, all the judgments and troubles the Lord brings upon his people is that they might turn from their sin and remember to serve only the Lord.

The lessons for us in our day are obvious. We will consider:

3. The Recognition of Covenant Grace
