I. The New Covenant Necessitates a New Priesthood

There are many Dispensationalists that reject that the Church Age believer is presently part of the New Covenant. I believe this is because they do not see the already, not yet aspect of prophetic fulfillment regarding this promise of the Abrahamic Covenant as it relates to all believers in the “Seed, which is Christ” (Gal. 3:16 & 29). The Church Age believer is a partial fulfillment prophetically (already, not yet) of the unfolding nature of the Abrahamic Covenant. The initiation of the beginning of this unfolding of the New Covenant took place on the Day of Pentecost with the two primary works of the Holy Spirit:

1. The baptism with the Holy Spirit into the “body of Christ” or the New Genesis (New Creation)
2. The indwelling of the believer with the Person of the Holy Spirit creating new theanthropic beings from every “born again” believer “in Christ”
