The Fall of Babylon

In Revelation 18:1–8, we witness the prophetic announcement of the fall of Babylon the Great—a symbol of this present worldly system that defies God, corrupts truth, and entices the nations with its immoral pleasures and false promises. This fallen world, with all its pride, wealth, and rebellion, will one day be judged with swift and utter destruction. The Lord calls His people to come out from her, to separate from her sins and not share in her plagues. In this sermon, we are reminded that as Christians, we must not be entangled with the values, pursuits, and compromises of Babylon. Her judgment is sure, and our calling is clear: live holy, distinct lives in faithful obedience to the Lord, as citizens of a kingdom that will never fall.
