The Passion of Christ

Psalm 69 gives us a glimpse of the inner life of Christ as shown in his great type, King David. We see the distress of the Lord, suffering, afflicted, rejected. We see the devotion of the Lord, who chose the way of the Cross and gave himself up for us, and we see the deliverance of the Lord, both his deliverance at the Resurrection and the deliverance he worked for his people.
