All things work together for good
Series Book of Acts Videos
After Paul and Barnabus meet with the church leadership in Jerusalem over the dispute about Gentiles becoming believers and not having to convert to Judaism, James (the brother of Jesus) affirms Gentiles can believe. James sends them back to Antioch, along with Judas and Silas, with a letter to distribute to the Gentile believers instructing them they do not need to convert to Judaism. While in Antioch, Paul and Barnabus prepare for their second missionary journey, but end up in a major argument over whether John Mark, who deserted them on their first journey, should be part of their second trip. This leads them to separate and Barnabus and Mark go to Cyprus, while Paul joins up with Silas to go back to Asia Minor. What's interesting is through this, they learned the lesson Paul taught the Romans that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to God's purpose.
