Lively Stones

The Jews had their tabernacle and then their temple. All religions have their temples around which are centered their religious beliefs and activities. We are taught here in these Scriptures that after the death and resurrection of Christ God has built a temple out of living stones, which are those who are saved. God now dwells in his people, and this temple has all the things that pertained to the temple of the Jews, such as a priesthood, and sacrifices. But they are different than the Old Testament priesthood and sacrifices.
