It's all about Numbers

Often we find the reading of genealogy and these types of passages to be tiring, gruesome, and seemingly irrelevant. Our pitiful attempts to pronounce these names, futile, at best.
It is tempting to just give up, skip over, and go on.
Yet I remind myself, and you as well. That all Scripture is given by Inspiration of God, and is profitable.
In this passage we are reminded, yet again, of the faithfulness of God, in spite of the unfaithfulness of man.

The Book of Numbers receives its title because of the 2 national censuses that take place in the book.
