The Invincible People of God

Aim: To triumph through life by the power of the gospel of Christ.

Exegesis: We are invincible because God fights for us, using natural forces (v. 20) and supernatural forces (v. 21). We are invincible because God cares for us. The Lord gives us steady progress (v. 22) and sure victory (vv. 23-24). We are invincible because God covenants with us. We exalt the Lord in church (v. 25) and at home (v. 26).

Key verse: v. 24 ''And [the LORD] will deliver their kings into your hand, and you will destroy their name from under heaven; no one shall be able to stand against you until you have destroyed them.''
