God Demonstrates His Love for Us: While Still Sinners, Christ Died for Us

Each year during the week of Easter, Reformed Baptist Church of Kansas City focuses on the Cross of Christ on Wednesday and then the Resurrection of Christ on Sunday. For Easter of 2010, the text of Romans 5:6-11 was used.

Wednesday's sermon was entitled 'God Demonstrates His Love For Us' and referenced Romans 5:6-9. Here Paul emphasizes the greatness of God's love shown in Christ by comparing it to the depravity of the nature of the subjects He died to save. All men are helpless, ungodly, sinning enemies of God. Yet Christ died for sinners like that.
