Wives Displaying the Gospel

Christians are called to live in the truths of the Gospel, thus Paul writes in 4:1 "Live worthy of the calling with which you were called." Thus, when it comes to the family, God has ordained and instructed how the family is to function. The incredible union of marriage is what Paul addresses first and here we see that the marriage is to display the wonder of the Gospel!
