Colossians 4 - Part 13 - the Tongue for Good and Evil

Here, in the context of clearly giving the gospel, we are told to be wise in our conduct toward outsiders or unbelievers. Our poor behavior, sadly, drowns out the message that we so desire to bring to the lost. We are a walking sermon, viewed by all, even when saying nothing. Our minds are revealed by what comes out of our mouths. Therefore our speech is to be seasoned with grace as with salt so those around us will be drawn to Christ as Savior.
