The Milky Christian

This was a message from the Book of Hebrews during the Tri-State Bible College Expository Preaching Class in South Point, OH. This message was delivered by Pastor, Douglas Salyer from the Princess Chapel Church in Ashland, KY.

This sermon was titled "The Milky Christian," the text used was from the Book of Hebrews 5:11-14. This message deals with the third warning of Spiritual Immaturity.

It exposes a great enemy of the body of Christ. Seductively, craftily the enemy works on Christians and on the Church.

This enemy has been creeping into the Church for several generations now. If it had stormed in all at once. The Church would have seen it, rebuked and rejected it; cut off it’s head like the venomous viper that it is and moved on.

But it has slowly and carefully crept in unawares. And today it has an almost vice like grip on the general population of Christians. At first it was just tolerated, later it was excepted. Now in most places it is embraced and defended as Truth.

The writer here begins to build on the third warning against spiritual immaturity, weak faith, shallow theology or the milky Christian.
