A Song in Israel

God gives Hannah a song during one of the darkest times of Israel's history. The priesthood is corrupt and the Word of Lord is scarce. But she has received mercy and deliverance that has animated her faith and illuminated her heart. Her experience teaches us that the darkness around us need be no impediment to our ability to pierce the darkness and transcend the oppressions foisted upon by whatever circumstances we are called to face!
