Exercise Yourself for Godliness

In this passage, Paul compares physical exercise to spiritual exercise. A good servant of Jesus Christ is careful to set proper teaching before God's people, but it is our responsibility to take in that teaching and apply it, with the intensity one who is seriously training for a physical sport would -- and the benefits are eternal!
