The Divine Son
Series Exposition of Hebrews
Jesus is shown to be the divine son of God through the use of a literary device known as a chiasmus. He is divine because of his preeminence over the ancient prophets and angles, his position to which he was appointed and has now attained, and his power by which he made the worlds and now sustains them.
