Some Christians believe there should be no Christmas. While our Pastor does not hold that position, he expresses deep concern about our culture's exchanging biblical fact for fables - 2 Timothy 4:3-4. "White Christmas" is a tender, nostalgic song. Many of us almost "feel religious" the first time we hear it each November. But a PBS documentary called "Remembering Bing Crosby" did point out that the release of what became the mega-hit marked the first time Christmas was being portrayed in a totally "secular" way. Whose sleigh-bells were the "children" listening for anyway?
