The valley of Jericho - The valley of trouble

This sermon was preach at the Annual Spring Conference in Aghalee FPC. The conference theme was: The Valleys of the Old Testament.

The 'plain of the valley of Jericho' is only mentioned directly once by name. There are however a number of other references to the 'plains of Jericho'.

This valley was associated with trouble. It was associated with:

1. The city of the curse, namely Jericho, Deut 34:3

2. Those who were prepared for battle, Josh 4:13

3. An observance of the passover where one man, Achan, did not get right with God, Josh 5:10.
