Light at the End of the Tunnel

The death of Saul in 1 Samuel 31 provides many valuable truths for God's people. Truths to guide us away from sin and foolishness to God and His good, acceptable and perfect will. Those truths challenge us to make choices about how we will live our lives for Jesus Christ. Will we choose fatalism or faith? Will we choose cowardice or courage? Will we choose love of self over love of others? Will we choose fear or forgiveness? Saul's life was largely driven by fear of others from 1 Samuel 13 onward. God wants us to respond like David, not like Saul.
