Christianity—The Opposite of Other Religions
Christianity is the opposite of other religions, because God:
Lesson 1: Provided the __________________ (Gen 22:7-11; John 1:29; 1 Cor 5:7; Rev 5:6).
Lesson 2: _______ the ________ (Rom 3:28; Eph 2:8-9; 2 Tim 1:9; Titus 3:5; John 19:30).
Lesson 3: ________ ________ to us (Gen 11:3-7, 18:21; Exo 3:8, 19:11, 18-20).
Lesson 4: "______________" Himself (Phil 2:6-8; 2 Cor 8:9; Psa 22:6; Isa 53:1; John 1:11, 17:5).

Memory Verses: 1 Corinthians 2:1-2
Day 1: Read Genesis 22:7-12 & discuss: If God didn't want a sacrifice, what did He want? What did this account foreshadow about Jesus? Why is this account a good example of how Christianity is different than other religions
Day 2: Read Rom. 3:28, Eph. 2:8, 2 Tim. 1:9, Titus 3:5 & discuss: Why are these verses good examples of how Christianity is different than other religions? How were each of the persons in the Trinity involved in our salvation (see Eph. 1:3-14, 1 Pet. 1:2 for some hints)
Day 3: Read Gen 11:3-7, 18:21, Ex 3:8, Jer 23:5, Isa 9:6-7, Zech 9:9 & discuss: Did God really "come down"? What's the significance of these Old Testament passages - what were they pointing forward to in the New Testament? What does it mean that Jesus "emptied himself"? Why did he do this? (See Phil. 2:1-11)
