The Triumphant Prince of Peace

The Passion Week begins with Jesus entering Jerusalem to cheering crowds proclaiming Him the Messiah. The people were expecting a warrior who would defeat the Romans but Jesus had a much greater enemy in mind; sin. While Jesus received their proclamations, for those with eyes to see, He indicated that His mission was one of peace. He entered Jerusalem on a young donkey, just as prophesied in Zechariah.
