The Law of God: Our Adversary

Christ takes an allegorical look at the law of God in the use of a picture drawn from the world of litigation. In this picture we find that the law is our enemy and thus the gospel way of 'agreeing with our adversary' must be used 'quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him!'
