Solomon explains the futility of a work-ethic gone wrong: rivalry and greed and pride; trying pass up your neighbor and trying to hoard a treasure and trying to stay on top long past your time. So the King's elusive search for satisfaction continues with an analysis of three sinful attitudes that make hard work no fun…and sometimes no point. i.) Rivalry (4-6).
