I. Why should we always give thanks?

1. Because we are commanded to give thanks.
2. Thanksgiving has been the heart of praise.
3. Our Lord takes note of our thanksgiving.
4. Lack of thanksgiving is a sign of unbelief.

5. You are declaring that you did not earn it.
6. You are declaring that God gave it to you.
7. You show that God is good.
   III. What should we thank God for?
8. Things temporal.
