New Jerusalem

The writer of Hebrews tells believers that they have come to Mount Zion, which is also the city of the living God and which is also heavenly Jerusalem. This sermon looks at the rest of Scripture to help make sense of what it means for God's children to have come to Mount Zion. What becomes obvious is that Zion is not a geographical location but the place where God dwells and rules from--it is the mountain that's above all other mountains (governments). We see that the Messiah's rule over the nations is inseparable from Him dwelling in Zion.
