HOW WE WILL PROCEED IN TEACHING THROUGH THE PSALMS

In this Study we will be both preaching through the Psalms and teaching various ways we can sing the Psalms. Sermon Audio provides a great resource for singing the Psalms in Meter. I don't think I can do a better job than what they have done.

I am going to be presenting ways to sing the the Psalms as written with no meter. To do so we have to come up with a new style which I call using Harmonic Patterns rather than metrical patterns.

So we will teach the meaning of the Psalms and we will be singing through the Psalms. By God's grace we will hope to write 150 Pure Scripture Choruses in Metrical style, and 150 Harmonic templates that can be used to sing the Psalms as written non metrical style without changing them, paraphrasing them or retranslating them.

Hopefully as we progress we will come up with new and better ways to sing the Psalms similar to how David did in the Bible..
