Colossians 3 - Part 11 - Putting on Jesus Christ

As believers who have died with Christ and been raised up to newness of life in Him, we are to live our lives by putting on all that our gracious God has provided. In summary when we put on the renewed new man, or the whole armor of God we are putting on the Lord Jesus Christ. This is our daily objective, to put on Jesus Christ and to be clothed in Him. To do this correctly we must be renewed. Our thinking is in continual need of being brought in line with the truth of God’s Word, so that we know how to put on the Lord Jesus Christ.
