What is a Christian? Can someone be a Conservative Christian, a Liberal Christian, a Moderate Christian? Titus 2:12 teaches a Christian is someone totally possessed and in union with Christ. A believer must have the whole Christ, the justifier and sanctifier, both Savior and Lord. As such, a Christian will be growing in holiness through progressive sanctification: the ongoing, lifelong maturing process. We must not excuse sin but teach self-control.
