Zion's Cornerstone

Again we look at hypocrites in Israel, sinners in Zion. They talk big against God, but they shall find out how well their grand works prevail! King Jesus will smash them (Psalm 2).

Christ is the One upon Whom God builds His people (Matthew 16.18). He delights in mercy, so judgment, though it comes, is an unusual act for Him.

These verses end with a little parable to illustrate what God had just taught.
