The Glory of the Cross

While liberalism denies the need for the Cross, and evangelicalism is gradually drifting into a "Christless Christianity" (to quote Michael Horton) where the message of Christ crucified for sinners is jettisoned in favor of therapeutic, self-help messages, scripture proclaims that not only was the death of Christ on the cross absolutely necessary if anyone was to be saved, it was GLORIOUS!
