What Does It Take To Be An Apostle?

By His grace God has given to every believer a 'gift' that enables each one to serve Him with excellence and efficiency. In practice these gifts are to be employed in serving one another in the Church.

There is much debate and discussion regarding what spiritual gifts are being given by God, to the Church, today.

Foundational to understanding what the Bible says about the spiritual gifts, what they are and which ones are given to the Church today, is to understand what the Bible says about the presence of the Kingdom today.

One of the gifts given to the early Church was the gift of an apostle. What was an apostle, what did it take to be an apostle and are they still being given to the Church today? A careful search of the Scriptures in the course of this study reveals the answers as God has spoken.
