Stewardship

Stewardship text:'And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it' (Genesis 2.15).

1. The first steward: (1) Resources: (Genesis 1.28, Psalm 67.5-6). (2) Entrustedness: (Genesis 2.15). (3) Control: Man is created for great accomplishments. (4) Development: (Proverbs 31.29-31). (5) Faithfulness: (Genesis 2). (6) Accountability: (v.16 & v.17, Luke 19.11-28).
2. The perfect steward: (1) Christ's perfection (Romans 3.23). (2) Christ's stewardship as the Servant of the Lord (Isaiah 42.1-4) (3) Christ's faithfulness unto death (Isaiah 53.1-6).
3. The Christian steward (1) Church officers (Titus 1.7-9, 1 Corinthians 4.1-4) (2) Every Christian (1 Peter 4.10, Luke 16.1-12)
