Adoration of the Father

We have great and numerous reasons for worshipping the Father. Paul begins the body of his letter by exalting the living and true God. This glorious paragraph begins where we should always begin: with the adoration of the Father. While we rightly spend much of our time, thought, and affections on Jesus, we ought always to remember that the Father sent His Son that we might have life in Him. This is the glory of the Father. This is the love of the Father toward us. This sermon directs us to return all our praise and worship through the Son to the Father.
