Genuine Jesus Followers

It has become popular to reject the title "Christian" or "Christianity" and to embrace the new title of "Jesus Follower." Is this a new term? Is this a healthy movement? What does it mean to be a genuine follower of the Lord Jesus Christ? May God raise up a whole new generation of genuine, Gospel proclaiming, Jesus followers!
