Ephesians 1:3-14
Paul begins the letter to the Ephesians with a vibrant account of 'spiritual blessings.' These blessings are the benefit of salvation for believers in Christ. The essence of Eph. 1:3-14 mirrors a version of a Jewish poem of praise to God that Zechariah (JTB father) offered to the Lord cf. Luke 1:68-75. There are numerous Psalms that speak of these blessings of God as well. I encourage you to do we word study in the Psalms on the subject of blessing – well worth the time.
