4 Genuine Conversion: The cure for works righteousness

This series seeks to go beyond just the lectures found in his book, but to also address common afflictions that can devestate a person's faith.

A healthy church member will be able to work through what would otherwise be detrimental situations.

This week: Genuine Conversion is the cure for works righteousness.

God turns sinners into saints by His grace. Works righteousness always diminishes and works against grace.

1)Mortification of the old,
2) Quickening of the new man

What are three evidences that conversion has happened or is happening. If these three are not all present, genuine conversion is most likely absent.

1. Desperation for God.
2. Deliverance from the power of sin
3. Delight in God
