Valueless Religion

Any form of religion that is based on yourself has no value. Such religion is legalistic and is primarily negative as it focuses on the don'ts, 'don't touch, don't taste, don't handle.' But legalism is never enough, it has to add to the list of don'ts. And all these worldly principles of religion cannot free you because they only focus on the externals, only Christ can free you through His death and resurrection.
