2. Biblical church government is good for us. False and unbiblical extremes and the despising of Christ's own appointment in his church.

3. The truth of God rightly received is always good for us. Biblical truth conveyed by mere men still to be received as the truth of God.

4. Elders are to exemplify and uphold the truth of God.
   i) exemplifying the truth in life and speech
   ii) teaching the truth
   iii) exercising church discipline. Christ's provision is not to be feared only the pride of our hearts which threatens our true peace.

5. A statement of the scriptural warrant for the office of ruling elder and ordination.

6. Ordination vows and the laying on of hands.

7. Exhortation to the elders and congregation, 2 Corinthians 12:15.
