Mystery Babylon, Part Two: The False Bride Introduced

Mystery Babylon is the seductive system that is always associated with Satan's anti-God world power. She represents fallen human culture is all its outwardly attractive but inwardly hideous form.

By her the kings and peoples of earth find their fame and fortune. Yet these very kings will be the cause of her demise. The sovereign Lord will put it into their hearts to hate her and destroy her, and then, to lament over her.

John was taken with amazement at seeing her. The angel showing him the vision rebuked John for his wonder.

All true believers need to beware of her alluring subtlety for it leads to idolatry and and the worship of prosperity. Only in Jesus Christ and in the will of God do we find true satisfaction and joy.
