Diversity & Unity of Spiritual Gifts

Believers today live in a time of the greatest privilege and intimacy with God due to the present ministry of the Spirit.

Following the Spirit's impressive, regenerative work on the heart and mind of each individual will be the giving of giftedness for serving in the Body. The Spirit of God will also produce in the heart of each person who is born-again a love for God and that love will respond in obedience to the will of God.

With these grace gifts the Spirit gives comes areas of responsibility to the "family" of the local church.

Christ is sovereign over the use of the gifts by each member of the body. One Master overseeing their use means there should be harmony among the members as these gifts are exercised.

The enabling power of God is what energizes the gifts and determines their effects.

Humility, willingness and submission to the Spirit must charaterize the heart-felt attitude of each believer.
