LESSON 3: DEVELOPING A CONSISTENT PRAYER LIFE

LESSON 3: DEVELOPING A CONSISTENT PRAYER LIFE. Daniel 6:7–10; James 1:5–6 KJV A good man is not defined by titles, strength, or success—but by dependence on God. In a world that pressures men to rely on self, Scripture calls us to rely on the Lord. Prayer is not a last resort; it is the first step of a God-directed life.
Daniel shows us what consistency looks like. Even when prayer became illegal, he did not panic, protest, or postpone. He prayed "as he did aforetime." His prayer life was not reactive—it was already rooted. Because prayer was a habit before the crisis, it became his anchor in the crisis.James reminds us that prayer must also be believing. Asking God without faith leaves a man unstable, pulled by circumstances instead of guided by conviction. A praying man who wavers will struggle to walk steadily, but a praying man who trusts God will receive wisdom, direction, and strength. This lesson teaches us that a consistent prayer life does not happen by accident—it is built with intention and perseverance.A good man may face opposition, pressure, and uncertainty—but he never faces them alone when prayer is consistent. When a man kneels regularly before God, he learns how to stand firmly before the world.
Strong men pray.
Wise men pray.
God-directed men pray.
And the steps of that man—according to the Word of God—are ordered by the Lord.
