Paul's epistle to the Ephesians part 10

Ephesians 2:1-3 says that before knowing Christ, all people were spiritually dead because of their sins. They lived according to the ways of the world, followed sinful desires, and were under the influence of their own sinful flesh. By nature, everyone before Christ steps in are deserving of God's judgement.
