Why Be A Christian?

Deuteronomy 33:29 has a definite and joyful trumpet tone: 'Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord?'

This text takes the life that God has redeemed, regenerated and blessed, holds it up high, and challenges the world to produce anything like it!

When this challenge is investigated, we discover that the Christian life is:

– happier than any other,
– harder than any other,
– and more hopeful than any other.

To the question, 'Why Be A Christian?' the answer comes in the form of another question ... Why hesitate?!
