Which Is the Great Commandment

The law of God is aimed at putting down self and putting God and others first. The whole law is summed up in loving God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength, and loving our neighbor as ourselves. This puts self in last place. This is the only way for men to live together on this earth in peace. The first step in following Christ is denying self.
