The Sower, the Seed & the Soil

While neither the Sower nor the seed change in this parable the results of the seeds sown are different. The results are determined by the condition of the soil picturing the condition of the human heart to the Word concerning Jesus Christ. Encouragment to those faithful with the Gospel the outcome of spreading the Word may vary but it is not caused by the ineffectiveness of the Word nor the messenger. To those hearing the Gospel - the response reveals the spiritual condition of the heart.
