The Pursuit of God's Character

Goodness and mercy is not what God gives us. Goodness and mercy is who God is. We can look backward, forward, upward, downward and inward and we find with confidence that He is everything.
In His goodness He brings us back to the fold convicting us and reminding us of sin. In His mercy He forgives and restores.
Dr. Joel Beeke writes "To posses God is to have everything though we have nothing...but to live without God is to have nothing though we may have everything."
