Sermon 8: The body of Christ—The asylum in the inferno

It is outrageously wonderful to know that in this world, as we struggle against personal sinful desire, we are not alone! God has not left you alone to battle and be defeated but has provided a team of people to stand with you in the carnage. God’s Church is on display here with her wonderful design, including personal gifts, unity and personal need.

This is a series of 8 sermons preached at The Manger Care Centre in Benoni. It puts forward some biblical perspectives on addictions. In this series I leaned heavily on the work of the respected Dr. Edward T. Welch in his excellent book "Addictions—A Banquet in the Grave" (P&R).
