Sermon 6: Where is your attention?

Here we consider the gaze of the inner life. On one hand you have the overwhelming appeal of sin. On the other you have your own overwhelming lack of self-control. And an exciting solution, with practical suggestions, is discovered in the overpowering grace of God.

This is a series of 8 sermons preached at The Manger Care Centre in Benoni. It puts forward some biblical perspectives on addictions. In this series I leaned heavily on the work of the respected Dr. Edward T. Welch in his excellent book "Addictions—A Banquet in the Grave" (P&R).
