Resistance to Authority

Is it ever right to resist authority? A superficial reading of v.2 would yield a negative answer. But considering this verse within its broader Biblical context, we see that there are some scenarios where resistance can be righteous. We start by reviewing Paul's General Rule. Then we examine exceptions that prove the rule, and finally look at rules for righteous resistance.
