Worst of All

The great appeal of apostasy is that those who depart from the apostolic truth will experience the intoxication of true liberty. They will be freed from the oppression of those who speak about holiness and sanctification and will instead be able to gratify every desire of the flesh. Paul said that such people were actually in bondage to corruption and would lead those who followed them into that same bondage, and that their latter end would be so appalling as to make them wish they had never been born at all.
