God Has Spoken Clearly

How are we going to, with certainty, know anything about God? If there is a God and we are to know anything about Him, He has to reveal Himself to us. If there is a God and He chooses to reveal Himself it will be clear and understandable. There is a God, He has made Himself known and the most important thing is for us to find out and know what He has said.

Every one everywhere is exposed to God's general revelation at all times. God's specific revelation concerns what He has said. This includes the revelation given through Jesus Christ. The devil's scheme is to take the revelation God has given and alter it by making substitutions, or mixing it with men's ideas or other such contaminates. By distorting and corrupting it people are kept from knowing what God has said. False teachers that rise up are actively and willfully involved in this scheme to confuse God's Word, especially the Gospel so keep people from hearing and believing so as to be saved.

God's Word, as Himself, is unchanging in its meaning and power. For all times, for all people everywhere, God's Word is clear, understandable and sufficient for knowing Him and living abundantly blessed both now and for all eternity.
